Axes average three dimensions each: access, third-party access and exit horizontally; action, continuity and business logic vertically. Fixed 0–10 scale, midlines at 5 (overall grades use separate weights). * Some evidence is unresolved. Marker colors identify companies, not score bands. How to read the map ↗

Permute is included as a reference (it owns this site and is a publisher self-assessment). Its score is excluded from sample averages. Read the Permute review ↗

Scores are out of 10. * Incomplete evidence discounts verified capabilities (unknown answers stay unknown). Planned migration drives data exit. Scoring method ↗

Separate production ERP, maintenance and supplier-network access

Manufacturing software holds different operational records in ERP, maintenance and supplier platforms. Compare each role within its declared scope (a supplier Workcenter API is not a buyer-side ERP export). This collection does not establish complete bills of material, routings, production genealogy or quality records for every vendor.

Manufacturing ERP

Compare the documented Global Shop Solutions, Epicor Kinetic and Infor CloudSuite Industrial routes. Manual report access, configured IDO collections and installed REST services have different completeness and entitlement questions.

Maintenance and work orders

Keep maintenance records, asset identities and work-order attachments separate from production orders. Check organization roles and webhook permissions alongside the chosen API token.

Supplier operations

The Xometry review covers the approved supplier Workcenter route. Its records and partner conditions should be evaluated for supplier work rather than treated as a general manufacturing database.

What to verify before connecting or migrating

  • Which production, maintenance or supplier objects are actually covered by the selected interface?
  • Can relationships, attachments and revision history leave with the current records?
  • Is the documented write an actual supported operation or only a general product capability claim?

Industry references establish terminology and business context. The linked vendor reviews contain the assessed API, commercial and export evidence (with their own product scopes and check dates).

Who can connect?

Credentials and approval by connection method

Yes No- Unknown

A check means the column applies to that route (customer credentials can still require provider approval). Report exports use the customer account without separate API credentials. Open a connection method for its authentication, requirements and last review date.

What each review covers

Global Shop Solutions ↗

Global Shop documents manual Excel exports and native GAB customization. The conservative grade gives those capabilities credit; unresolved API, commercial and contract inputs reduce it.

Global Shop Solutions / GAB native customization plus permission-scoped Dashboard Excel exports. External API/database protocols and customer cancellation rights remain unresolved.

Xometry Workcenter ↗

Xometry’s supplier API exposes accepted jobs and bounded workflow updates. It is not a general procurement database or buyer integration.

Xometry / approved manufacturing supplier’s Workcenter API, accepted jobs and job webhooks. Buyer PunchOut and separately approved Job Board offers are excluded.

Epicor Kinetic ↗

Kinetic exposes business objects, BAQs and Epicor Functions through its REST service architecture. Customer grants and API scopes constrain access; a vendor capability statement does not prove complete tenant recovery.

Epicor Kinetic customer-enabled Open REST API and BAQ/business-object services; licensed deployment/version, object grants and API scopes remain prerequisites. Other Epicor products are excluded.

Infor CloudSuite Industrial / SyteLine ↗

CloudSuite Industrial exposes configured IDO collections with explicit filters, bookmarks and update operations. Gateway credentials, application configuration and object rules define the usable surface.

Infor CloudSuite Industrial with Mongoose IDO REST v2 through customer-configured ION API Gateway; configured IDOs only, not all Infor CloudSuites or complete database restore.

Read the findings and sources ↗

MaintainX ↗

MaintainX documents customer-generated REST keys, work-order mutations and updated-time polling. Work orders use cursors, while assets/parts/purchase orders use offset pagination and require overlap plus deduplication.

MaintainX REST v1 work-order list/create/update and customer bearer API keys; timestamp polling and signed webhook hints; Reporting API and OT integrations are separate.

UpKeep ↗

UpKeep reserves API access for Enterprise and recommends organization tokens for long-running integrations. These inherit a chosen role and remain independent of an individual staff account.

UpKeep Enterprise REST work-order/asset APIs using organization API tokens; legacy administrator session tokens disclosed separately for excluded identity/webhook mutations.

Permute ↗

Scoped APIs expose SQL reads, managed records and customer-authored operation code. Customer-built apps are supported, while complete workspace recovery, outbound CDC and minimum-plan access terms remain unresolved.

Permute hosted workspaces / scoped REST and TypeScript SDK access to connected query sources, file datasets, managed database records, operation code and custom apps. Signed enterprise contracts and upstream vendor rights remain separate; no live tenant migration or reliability test was performed.
